Andrew Jefferson Miller is now an 8 year old. I find this impossible. But I also find it impossible that boats are able to float.
In an effort to keep things fun and exciting, we thought it would be a good idea to take the boys to New York City for Andrew's birthday this year. It just so happened that the Kentucky Wildcats were playing their season opener there on the same weekend ... what are the chances!!
It is terribly unfortunate that on the night of the basketball game - about 90 minutes before game time, Andrew came down with a killer headache. I felt so bad for him. I really did. I mean, I didn't feel bad enough to not go. But I did feel bad for him. I'm fortunate to have an understanding husband - and he knows I would do the same thing if we had traveled somewhere to see a Redskins game ... I hope he knows that. And I hope I would do the same thing. But I hope I never have to find out. I mean, Andrew doesn't get migraines TOO often, right??
My date to the game turned out to be the best date EVER. He was soooo interested. I just love, love, love him.
In Davis's defense, we had quite a busy day ... we spent some time before the game checking out the sights of Brooklyn -
A street in Brooklyn ...
... and we walked the Brooklyn Bridge, naturally.
Hello Brooklyn!!
Davis spent the next morning in a good-enough mood ...
... and this was only the beginning. The second day in New York was the actual day of birth for Andrew. What lie ahead for this spoiled rotten little man??
